The AMG Foundation, the CSR arm of AMG Realtors, has officially launched its 5th community library in Mukuru kwa Njenga, marking a significant milestone in its mission to make education accessible to underserved communities across Kenya.
Located in one of Nairobi’s most densely populated informal settlements, the Mukuru kwa Njenga Community Library is designed to bridge a critical gap limited access to safe, structured, and resourceful learning spaces. For many children and young people in the area, studying at home is often a challenge. This new facility provides a reliable environment where learning can thrive.
The library is fully equipped with 120 seats, over 3,000 books, 15 desktop computers, and free Wi-Fi, creating a modern learning hub that supports both academic and digital growth. Importantly, the library is completely free and open to every member of the community, ensuring that no one is left behind due to financial limitations.
Beyond books and technology, the space will host mentorship programs, personal development sessions, and community engagement activities, helping shape well rounded individuals and future leaders.
The response from the community has already been overwhelmingly positive, with strong engagement recorded within the first days clearly demonstrating the demand for such impactful initiatives.
This milestone also highlights AMG Foundation’s unique impact model, where every investment made through AMG Realtors contributes directly to building libraries, providing books, and expanding access to digital learning.
With five libraries now operational, AMG Foundation continues to expand its footprint and deepen its impact across communities.
Because when you invest in land, you don’t just secure your future you help build someone else’s.
