Andrew Muthee Gitau

Chairman

Andrew is deeply passionate about community service and mentorship. As Chairman of the AMG Foundation, he has successfully set up four community libraries, including two in Murang’a County, one in Kibera, and the most recent 200-seater library in Majengo, Nanyuki, Laikipia County.

He also serves on the boards of Gaichanjiru High School, Akiba School, and Kirirwa High School, demonstrating his commitment to education and community development. Through his foundation and corporate initiatives, Andrew continues to create opportunities for underserved communities and inspire positive change.

Keith Wright

Board Member

Keith Wright is a highly experienced global executive with over 28 years in leadership roles across business, development, and governance. He has led international organizations, including a global poverty solutions firm with operations in 26 countries,
and served in key leadership roles within Kenya’s financial and advisory sectors.

Currently, he is the Executive Director of the Millennium Water Alliance, championing global access to clean water and sanitation. With advanced degrees in Economic Development and Political Science, Keith brings valuable expertise, strategic insight, and a deep commitment to community impact to the AMG Foundation board.

Agnes Waruguru Njaaga

Agnes is a dedicated leader committed to fostering impactful business practices and making a difference in the community.

As a board member of AMG Foundation, a community initiative, she strives to create lasting value and inspire the next generation of leaders.

Her career objective, “To be part of the team that builds an African business that has impact for generations,” reflects her passion for driving meaningful change and contributing to sustainable growth.

Vasliah Wanjiru

Vasliah is a visionary businesswoman with a deep passion for organic farming. She believes in sustainable agriculture as a pathway to healthier communities and a thriving environment.

Beyond her entrepreneurial pursuits, she is a strong advocate for empowering the younger generation through access to books, knowledge, and current affairs. She envisions a future where informed choices shape brighter opportunities, fostering growth and transformation for individuals and society.

Wangari Kamau

Championing African Stories and Community Impact 

Wangari Kamau is a passionate advocate for children’s education, storytelling, and social impact. As the founder of Umba Creations, she is dedicated to instilling strong character values in children through African-inspired toys and stories. She is a published author and her books are featured on platforms like V.tabu and World Reader’s App Book Smart, aim to enrich children’s learning and emotional development. 

Beyond storytelling, Wangari empowers women and children through craft-based initiatives and social programs. Her “Dolls on a Mission” project has raised funds to support children battling cancer, providing comfort and access to treatment. Through her work, Wangari continues to promote literacy, cultural awareness, and community well-being, aligning closely with AMG Foundation’s mission to create lasting impact in society.
